Over the past thirteen years, Andy Anderson has become the go-to expert in energy commodity markets, sustainability reporting, utility tariffs, and utility data analytics. Leveraging his futures and options trading experience and Columbia Business School education with a focus on data analytics and decision making, Andy advises some of the largest real estate portfolios across the US on their energy and sustainability management practices. As CEO at WatchWire, Andy helps clients turn energy data into actionable analytics for use by all roles within an organization – sustainability, operations, engineering, finance/accounting, and procurement. He leads WatchWire’s teams in managing utility data globally across all verticals for >$5bn energy spend across >800M ft2; as well as working with the product management and development team in creating, refining, and maintaining WatchWire’s industry-leading sustainability and energy management SaaS platform.
Andy graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Franklin & Marshall College and holds an MBA with Dean’s Graduation Honors from Columbia Business School. Andy is a Professor at NYU’s Center for Global Affairs (graduate school), teaching Energy Management for Portfolios: Putting Policy into Practice, as well as a frequent guest lecturer at Columbia Business School’s New Developments in Energy Markets.

Diana Sweeney co-founded WatchWire in 2000. She has over 25 years of industry experience encompassing a background in both energy services and real estate management. She has extensive experience working with clients in managing their energy needs and has negotiated unique incentives for clients. Diana also serves as the Executive Director of the New York Energy Consumers Council, representing the interests of the largest commercial real estate owners in New York City. Prior to co-founding WatchWire, Diana was the Director of Energy Services for Insignia/ESG, and also held positions in the Legal and Property Management Divisions at the company. Diana is a past Enterprising Women’s “Women of the Year” Finalist and Energy New York Awards honoree. She has volunteered her time as founder and manager of a reading program in Brooklyn for children with incarcerated parents, a one-to-one mentor with the NY Public School system, and as a volunteer with the Special Olympics. Diana holds a Master of Science degree in Real Estate Investment from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. John’s University.
